Sometimes I have the feeling that predominated percentage of us, ridgebacks' lovers, takes pictures just of a dog (of course of its own dog) - in winter, summer, spring and even in autumn.… As your first ridgeback gets older you realize how many other things important for life as your clothes, dishes, vacuuming cleaner, sofa, chairs, books and loved plants, you have to give up in quest of storing whole bunch of the same pictures - less or more successful exhibiting pose of your RR. And you discover that the picture compression does not work in the drawers regardless of real expenses for developing such an unbelievable amount of dog less pictures (empty meadow - the dog was faster than you & trigger), dogs' pictures headless, pictures of legs without the dog, pictures of a tail without the dog, …, one day you will say: "Enough!!!" and you get a digital camera.
I have already found out that you have to take a sentence of new
owners of your puppies: "We will send you pictures" with a pinch. In most of cases it is some kind
of sound background which is interrupted by questions concerning nutrition, raising, exhibitions
or possible breeding.
A special type of the mentioned sentence is: " We wanted to send you
pictures but the computer of my husband (friend, brother, son, grandson, grandfather, father-in-law,
cousin, uncle) has broken". If all computers would be so unreliable as computers of the owners of my
breeding, than most lucrative job in this country would be probably to repass PCs.
Other possible reason is that owners of puppies express aloud their
imagination or desire ("we are going to send you pictures"), which are unfortunately not able to
fulfill due to the fact that they are always busy with something else.
It means that they have
been owners of a digital camera at affordable price for three quarters of a year. They have taken
more and more pictures without having time to install software essential for their development. It
means they cannot send them further except sending the whole camera (still haven't received any).
One owner of a female dog from our CHS says, that she will send classic photos but at the same time she confess that she doesn't know when because if some of them are successfully done, she regrets to send them away. I appreciate her honesty and patiently wait till some pictures will turn out wrong.
From the above-mentioned reasons you will not find pictures of all puppies, which have left our breeding and spread to the world. So the accessible pictures are from the same owners. But I am very grateful because at least I can see what I am interested in - what is walking on the Earth surface thanks to CHS Fontanesia. And I am quit pleased.
